These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the SocialRise application ("Service") and this website, operated by SocialRise ("we", "us", "our").

By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Eligibility

You must:

What SocialRise is

SocialRise is a platform that allows users to:

• Connect with others
• Create or join social plans and group activities
• Communicate via messaging

Meeting other users

You are solely responsible for your interactions with other users. You agree to:

• Use common sense when meeting others
• Meet in public places
• Not share sensitive personal information
• Report suspicious or unsafe behaviour

SocialRise is not responsible for user conduct, offline interactions, or any harm, loss, injury or damage resulting from meetups.

Acceptable use

You agree NOT to:

• Harass, abuse, threaten or harm others
• Post false, misleading or deceptive information
• Engage in illegal activity
• Use the platform for commercial solicitation or spam
• Impersonate another person
• Upload harmful or offensive content

We may remove content or suspend accounts at our discretion.

Your content

You retain ownership of content you post (photos, messages, etc). However, by using the Service, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, display, store and reproduce your content for the purpose of operating and improving the Service.

Location data

SocialRise uses location data to match users with nearby plans and enable real-time social connections. You can disable location access at any time, but this may limit functionality.

The waitlist

Joining the waitlist on this website does not create an account or guarantee access to the Service. We may launch in some areas before others, and we may close or change the waitlist at any time. How we handle your waitlist details is set out in our Privacy Policy.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in harmful behaviour, or pose a risk to other users or the platform. You may also delete your account at any time.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SocialRise is not liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental or consequential damages
• Loss of data, profits or opportunities
• Personal injury, harm or damages resulting from interactions between users

Your use of the Service is entirely at your own risk.

No warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee continuous availability, accuracy of user information, or compatible or error-free performance.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SocialRise from any claims, damages or losses arising from your use of the Service, your interactions with other users, or your breach of these Terms.

Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes via the app, this website or email. Continued use of the Service means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
